‘HUMANS ARE PART OF NATURE, NOT SEPARATE FROM IT, AND HUMAN ACTIVITY THAT HURTS THE ENVIRONMENT ALSO HURTS US’

Our philosophy is to make fewer better things; everything we make has an impact on our planet - here is how we are making a difference.

CIRCULARITY

We are committed to reducing our waste and use of raw materials, repurposing and recycling whenever possible. Our packaging is made with recycled materials and we have a second life initiative to repurpose clothes and return them to Botswana to donate to children in the communities we work with. - Learn More

CRAFTSMANSHIP

We have personal relationships with our partners around the world, our diamonds travel to cutting workshops in Botswana, India or Belgium.

Our jewellery is made both in Antwerp and India. We have teamed up with one of the leading jewellery manufacturers in Mumbai, each piece is ethically handcrafted by highly skilled goldsmiths.

BOTSWANA DIAMONDS

We source our diamonds from known mines and sources in Botswana. Through Botswanamark, we can provide provenance— the region or countries of origin — for every newly sourced, individually registered diamond (of .20 carats and larger) that we set. - Learn More

ETHICALLY MADE

We believe in the principals of slow fashion - designing products to last. Living in Botswana we have built strong personal relationships with artisans and with the women in the family run factory.

Our clothing is ethically made in Botswana. Behind the scenes there is a lot of work that goes into each piece of clothing; before cutting and sewing, the fabric needs to be washed and hung to dry under the African sun. Learn More

BIODIVERSITY

We support biodiversity across Africa to ensure our planetary boundaries are protected. Our capsule jewellery collections support NGOs and charities making a difference . We support Ecoexist Trust in Botswana and DIRT Charity and in 2021 we partnered with Virunga National Park.

CARBON NEUTRAL

We offset our our CO2 footprint of approximately 11 tons a year, through our wood burning stove initiative in the Okavango Delta.

The stove holds an extremely unique position, it produces four carbon credits per annum. This not only eliminates the stoves own footprint but continues to produce credits throughout its lifecycle.
